The Gregorian Calendar is antique. It evolved from questionable purposes and is illogical. Our holidays have been reduced to consuming frenzies. Every other aspect of our science and technology moves forward with innovation, yet our current method of relating to Time was designed when the world was thought to be flat and you could be put to death for suggesting that the Earth revolved around the Sun. It developed out of the need to tax to wage war and it is illogical in several ways.
First the Day that we celebrate as New Year is not the beginning of the new growing cycle. It is a day that is the farthest day in the circle of the orbit. Second the names of the months mean little to people. Names such as July and August are named for dead Roman Rulers Julius and Augusts Ceasar. Then September, October, November, and December mean 7th month, 8th month, 9th month and 10th month and are wrongly named because they mean the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12 month. Lastly the months are various lenghts of 28days, 29days, 30days or 31days. Each month then starts on a different day every year. The week-ends do not fall at the end of each month. This keeps us eternally confused and unable to get in rythym with the months. We must always buy new calendars because it is never the same. It is a confusing creation of man.
Some of the National Holidays are for things that give us little reason to come together over or celebrate. For example Presidents day is nothing more than a day to go to sales. Martin Luther King day is only for one man. Memorial day seems the same as Veterans day and both are tied with war rather than remembering all ancestors. July 4th is a war celebration, St. Patrick Day and Columbus day are a celebrations for specific ethnic groups and promote exclusion in a multi-cultural Society.
As a result of living with our current calendar that is locked int he past, we are a war orriented society, seeking fulfilment through possessions. It does not bring an understanding of the self and acceptance of others and does not promote living in harmony with the Earth, Sun and Universe. Back to top

Each month is exactly 6 weeks of 5 day weeks which totals 30 days each. Each month always starts on the same day and ends on a weekend. This calendar also more closely aligns with the Natural Zodiac constellations in the night sky. The other 5 days are celebrated as world Holidays

Spring Equinox is Earth Day, a day to help clean up and take care of the Earth.
Summer Solstice is Sun Day, a day where the sun is celebrated for all it gives including light, Heat and Food..
Fall Equinox is Multi-Cultural Day, a day for parades down the street that showcase all of the various cultures that make up the world. It is also a day to show the diverse dance and dress and foods of various cultures.
Winter Solstice is New Years Eve. It is a time to celebrate the return to the light. Of course in the southern hemisphere it is the opposite.
This is a calendar that does not change from year to year. It is easy to get in harmony with it.
Self help tool. The names of the months inspire self questioning and include mantra's for each month which can also be sang as songs.
Divinational/Game. It can also be used as a fun game for Divination. It fits perfecty with the 6 and 6 of two dice to total 12 for all the months. It's four directions also correlates to the 4 suits of cards. It also fits with the 13 cards in each suit because of the center.
